Up Close & Personal

Back To Health Chiropractic Medical Center was established February 1998, with the concept in mind to get unhealthy people back to health, by providing quality healthcare and services.  Initially the scope of practice was consumed with automobile accidents and workers compensation injuries and from that we built to occupational and industrial issues.  Currently, we treat over 200 work-related cases per week.  We work with many companies to provide their employees with D.O.T. pre-employment physicals, D.O.T. drug testing and various other testing.  We have a team of professional staff members committed to providing excellent service to the community and industry at large. 

Dr. Lolita A.Wilburn, D.C. is a chiropractic physician whose primary focus is pain management and rehabilitation.  Dr. Wilburn received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Western Illinois University.  She received a second Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a doctor degree in Chiropractic Medicine at the National College of Chiropractic.  She belongs to the American Chiropractic Association, the American Black Chiropractic Association, the Black American Chicago land Chiropractic Association, and the National College of Chiropractic Alumni Association.

 

Dr. Lolita A. Wilburn, D.C. is the current director and has been in practice since February 1993, starting her independent professional chiropractic career at Jarrett Luck-Medical Center.  She worked diligently with the now deceased internal medicine physician Sherry Luck.  Together Dr. Lolita Wilburn and Dr. Sherry Luck provided service to the inner-city community, providing numerous health fairs and community awareness symposiums.  Dr. Wilburn's area of expertise is muscloskeletal problems, however she is a primary care physician who is highly skilled and trained to treat the whole person.   Previously Dr. Wilburn was a staff physician at Belmont Community Hospital, Park Forest Hospital, Sacred Heart Hospital, South Shore Hospital, Hind Hospital and affiliated with internal medical physician at Jackson Park Hospital.  

Dr. Wilburn belongs to numerous organizations in the community.  She also is very active with  BACC- Black Association of Chicagoland Chiropractors, which provides ongoing educational programs and events in the community.  Dr. Wilburn is a member of the American Black Chiropractic Association, which provides national recognition and services throughout the United States.  Dr. Wilburn is also a member of many other chiropractic organizations.  

Over the years Dr. Wilburn has attended hundreds of seminars to enhance her skills.  She has also received numerous awards for leadership and commitment to the profession of Chiropractic Medicine.

Dr. Wilburn is committed to excellence and she strives to provide quality cost-effective healthcare to all.
